After market power tilt & trim.

My 1977 115 HP johnson does not have a power tilt & trim. I was looking at the CMC after market model. Can someone tell me if it is a good unit and worth the money. I found an original replacement but I don't trust it due to the age. Any help is appreciated.

I saw one (CMC)on a boat at the launch one day. I asked the owner about it and he loved it and said his only regret was that he hadn't put it on years earlier. He said the installation went very well. That's about all I know. Best of luck. Rick.

I've installed a few of them and they worked real good. I wouldn't trust the orginal either.
