After rebuild

I have just overhauled my 40hp 1976 evinrude with new rings,gaskets, main bearing, re honed the bores, new oil seals. The compression was just below 100psi before the rebuild. i am now getting around 115psi. Will this be a significant increase in starting, running ect?

Your compression numbers will go up after you've broken in the motor.
