Aftermarket Fuel Injection?

Hello Everyone

I hope everyone had a very good Christmas and I wish you a wonderful 2009.

A friend of mine thought he saw an aftermarket fuel injection kit for various OMC outboard products. Is anyone aware of this product and who makes it?

never heard of it. what motor do you have? there are aftermarket replacement parts, like Sierra.

The motor is a '93 Evinrude, a carburated engine. My friend saw the aftermarket fuel injection kit on one of the boating shows. My motor is in very good shape with about 200 hours on it. If the price of the kit was not too outrageous, I would not mind spending the money. In my fifty-five years, I have learned to hate carburetors, on everything from lawnmowers to trucks.

There was a series of articles in BWB magazine about putting the injection on an older 3 liter Johnson. Pretty good series. Brucato Machine makes the kit.
