Air Cycle don't know what year it is. Don't know if its allowed on the lake.
What I do know is that it starts right up has a new muffler. and is still
loud as hell. I think it has a BMW plane motor but of this I am not sure.
It's a blast to drive.... fly.....what ever. No trailer, $2700.00
or trade for a nice street bike call 732-920-xxxx

had to stare at that thing a little bit... Its backwards! assumed it was like a normal hovercraft, fan blowing out the back... Nope, look again. You are sitting/standing directly in the blast of the fan, that has to be, umm, interesting! Really no need for protection, with how the fan is buried inside it. (also, the back side of the fan is relatively safe, at least compared to the front)

It seems to me the fan discharge is ducted to either side of the operator. The operating position is tucked into a bit of wind shield.

Thanks for reminding me via the link that all those Pop Sci mags are available via Google. Flipping through them old mags is like crack. Now I am obsessing over a 1970 Firebird T/A. Dangit!

Hey Capt.
I owned one of these way back when. It was an early design. Not the best design, but it worked (sort of). I still have the engine in my garage. I need to find out what the engine is so i can over haul it and put it on my dad's jon boat to make it into an airboat. I just hae to wait for him to go to Fla. this winter.......
PS.
unless they arte some kind of collector, i think 2700 is pretty steep.
