I have a Ted Williams 7.5 outboard Model217/585880.
being new to this my question may seem dumb but do these engines not have air filters? My engines seems to be totally without an airfilter nor any place to put one. Most of the small engines I have worked on it the past have all had filters and the manual stressed to keep the filter clean etc. I was able to get a diagram and parts list for this unit at www3.sears.com but it does not show a filter that I can find.
