Air Fitting? On an Evenrude?

Greetings, I am now working on and mabe soon to be owner of an old "89" v4 90 Hp Evenrude. I am now going through the carbs with a good cleaning but found what looks like an air fitting on top of the intake assm. What is it and what does it do please. Thanks in advance.

My best guess is they should be tubed to the primer solenoid. Gas is injected from the primer to the intake. Having said all this I am not familiar with your engine so be careful with what I say. Best of luck. Rick.

If you are speaking of the fitting on the primer solenoid, this where you would inject fogging oil or Engine Tune .
