Hi Guys,
I have an older Airguide Compass that I took apart to clean and paint. Now I am having trouble getting it adjusted.
When I took it apart I did not notice how the magnets were positioned, so when I put it back together I just put them back end to end.
I can get the E&W set up perfectly, But the N&S I can't get closer than 20 deg.
I would of thought that it would not make a diffrence witch way the magnets went in because I figured if you turned them screws enough they would eventually come back to the " end to end " position.
Any of you guys had these things apart and remember if the magnet orientation is cridicale when putting them back together ?
