Airguide Tach on CD Ignition ?

Hi,I have a 85ish 25xd I wish to install a tach on.
I have a airguide tach that is for magneto or Alternator/CD igntions
there is 2 wires a black and yellow coming out of unit as well as 4 jumper terminals .
Instruction tag on back reads...
For 2 cyl mag= no connection
Alt systems= jump 1 and 2
3 cyl cd=1 and 3
4 cyl cd=1 and 4
Can I use this with my 25xd and were do I hook up the yellow and black wires.
Also my xd is not electric ...No starter /alternator no battery etc.

It will not work with out a alternator winding, if you want a tach bad enough you could install the winding as a accessory.
