Last summer I purchased a 1967 Crestliner with Ammeter and Tach gauges unhooked. The motor, had been replaced with a 1974 Johnson 115 Powershift and a OMC Side Mount late-model mechanical shift remote control. The control has a 3 plug accessory connector.Grey, Purple and Black. I do not have the quick end plug :grumpy: My question is if I splice into the control which wires do I connect to the transmitter. Transmitter reads on 4 cyl that the Grey should "insulate or tape"If that is the case, where would it get pulse signal from?Purple? It is a Airguide 665.
