Hi small block<br /> I have your motor listed as a 1948 5hp.<br /> I tried to find some imfo on your lower unit dilemma (a previous post).I didn't have anything.
thanks guys.alcan thanks again,im going to try and put a 53 power head on a48 lower unit.the only differences are the water jackets.on the 48 the jackets are about a sixteenth of an inch smaller. im waiting on a few seals to complete this project.ill let yu know how this swap works out soon.thanks again .small block
