alignment of twin o/bs

Haven't had to inquire here in some time. (that is a good thing) We have a new (to us) Maycraft with twin Suzuki 200s. I noticed that the motors are not exactly parallel and asked around. The riggers from the place of purchase say that there should be a slight toe out of the props. Ours is a slight toe in of the props. It is extremely unlikely that the tiebar has moved in any way. My questions are 1. Does anyone have experience with this issue? and 2. Is there a way of adjusting the motor(s) to the tiebar? The Sea Star tech told me how the tiebar can be shortened but it involves some cutting and I would prefer to avoid that if possible. The boat has less than 100 hrs so it appears that the motors re aligned themselves during that time if the toe info I got is correct.
