Alignment tool

After reading posts that emphasize the importance of checking engine alignment when the outdrive is iff, I have decided it's a good idea to buy an alignment tool.

I checked online and they range from $18 to more than $100. Are the cheap ones generally good?

I bought mine off of ebay years ago. You do not need to spend over $100.

I'm sure price is dictated by the quality of steel and the tolerance level.

Its a big chunk of metal... The $40 version is going to do the exact same as the $100 version.

I got mine for around $45 on the web but I wish I would have paid a little more to get the gimbal bearing install accessories.

Well, I ordered one on ebay for $31 shipped. It should be here Friday.
