Walking next to the dock on the seawall today I head the high pitch sound of a Mercury trim motor, singing away. I saw 5 or 6 boats tied to the dock and only the Mako had it.s engine down.
The rain from yesterdays cat and dog show shorted out the dash mounted trim button.
Of course, I started at the engine, unplugged the cowl mounted swith...still runs, go up the the shop, grab a wrench to disconnect the battery. As I had the wrench on the negative terminal, I thought, try the dash switch numby...I did it stopped.
Pumps were running and running on all 150 some odd boats, only one tried to sink,
