Awsome, thanks for the replies guys, definitely going to snag one. I feel like this shouldn’t be open, now I’m a little concerned if the previous owner ran it like this. I’ll measure it when I get home and get one coming. Thanks again!

My concern would be if it froze and pushed out the Welch plug

I assume you didn’t water test the boat ?

i think you'd be hard pressed to freeze that upper without other damage. There's a lot of room in there and you'd have to have water all the way up there. Unless it was fully submerged and froze solid. Which i guess is possible. But otherwise just epoxy in a 50 cent piece. Mine's held for at least 10 years.

is that why the ladies call you 50 cent?

Yeah I don't know either. Was assuming they dont just fall out? or did yours corrode?

Yeah, that and the fact that I have a 40 year old boat and won't buy a new one.

Mine just fell out.
