Alpha 1 gen 1 worth rebuilding

I have already ordered a new SEI drive but looking at the old drive i cant help but ask is it worth rebuilding. Popped a rock at about 25 mph one of the rams let go and there is very little damage to a SS prop...the case does not have any hit indcation's the prop took the brunt of it....The leg will no longer go into gear and the engine will overheat so the pump is toast. How far can the shock go up stream is the question..i hate to just toss her but parts are outragous and if i start im afraid i will not stop.

Sure they can be rebuilt, if not damaged too much. Just depends on what the problem is. Could be a broken vertical shaft. Until you take it apart, there is no way of knowing if yours is rebuildable or not.
