alpha 1 gen 2 install

ok heres the deal i got the transom seal kit installed and now the darn outdrive wont go on. i got it 1/2 on the threads for bolts as far as i could get it to go. i replaced my gimbal bearing and greased it before i installed drive might be my mistake. i purchased an aftermarket alignment tool and gimbal bearing install tool and seal driver off ebay. i dont think the tool is going all the way in and believe its stoping before i hit the engine coupler. cant align it all the way i believe is the problem anyone have any ideas im stumped.

Well one of a few things................

First is alignment. You have an aligment tool and if not going fully in the engine mounts must be adjusted to allow the tool to be fully inserted....

When you are trying to insert the drive, is it in gear and are you turning the prop to line up the shaft splines?

Is the shifter in full forward throttle and is the drive also in forward gear?
