1996 formula 27pc with twin 4.3 vortecs. after splashing i noticed i wasnt getting a great hole shot like i have in the past. drive trims were all the way down, at least i thought. afterwards i noticed the port drive was about 1/4 of the way up. i trimmed the drive up and down and the pump is working. trimmed the drive down and ran it out again. same thing happened, drive came up on its own. it looks like the pressure from the water going on plane is pushing up the drive. not sure if its the cylinders since the will trim up and down, but what about that block all the fittings go into on the bottom of the drive. i would imagine theres some sort of valve, or valves somewhere that open and close that may be stuck. any ideas? thanks
