I bought a transom seal kit with all bellows to replace on my 1987 Alpha 1 IO. Can someone steer me to some directions to follow so i can accomplish changing out the seals and bellows. Im doing this because i have been getting water in my bilge and highly suspect from bellows. Do i need to pull the drive to replace bellows (exhaust,u joint and shift cable) any help would be appreciated

It may be the upper swivel shaft seal, like on my boat, where the steering arm goes through the transom. If you have water in that cavity (where steering arm goes through), then that's probably the leak point.
Not a simple seal to replace.

Yes you need to remove the drive, buy a service manual and read it. The pictures alone are worth a thousand posts!
