Hi, my dad has an 06 Avalon 27' with a 5.7 mercruiser with an Alpha 2 with a serial # 1FL55257. He was dewinterizing it this year first time for him, and he was looking for the typical grease fittings found on the outdrive but could not find any. Is it possible to not have any grease fittings?

There are no grease fittings on those drives and transom shield assemblies.

Interesting, is there any maintenance that should be done on the drive besides lower unit grease?

Annual maintenance...

Remove drive and check engine alignment.
Grease splines on yoke.
Check inside of bellows for integrity.
Split drive halves and service water pump....

Have a read of the service manual and you'll find the full list in there... (It's also in your owners' handbook... you know, the one you throw away because "who needs that rubbish anyway" :D)...

Chris.....
BTW, no grease in the drive, there is (or should be) Quicksilver high performance gear oil.

Just an FYI, it's not an Alpha 2, no such thing, It's called an Alpha I Gen II.
