Alpha Anode Kit. Two Pieces Left Over?

I replaced the fresh water only anode kit on my Alpha last week before using my boat in salt water for the first time. I used a genuine Merc anode kit and have two pieces left over, a round anode that looks like it might go inside the prop and a rubber plug.
Anyone know where they go?

the anode goes behind the prop and the rubber plug goes under the anode thats under te gimbal housing where the power trim lines go into

The boat has a mercury vengeance stainless prop. Does this anode still work with this prop? Thanks!
