Alpha Gen I or II

[93 Regal USAF]

How can I tell if I have the Alpha Gen I or II, and if they are standard or counter drives? I know these are stupid questions, but I am trying to learn the best I can about I/Os. Thanks for putting up with my ignorance!!

Mine is a 1991 and its a gen 2 so your 1993 must have a gen 2. I don't know how you identify a standard/counter rotating drive. The gear ratio is often stamped on the drive next to the serial number (In case you wanted to know the gear ratio).

If you have a single wheel 140, you have a standard rotation drive...​
