alpha one drive removal, oil reserve line

I have a 1997 alpha one drive that I plan to remove for lower shift cable, and impeller. This boat, wellcraft 20, has an outdrive oil reserve. Where does the oil line make its way to the drive and are there any special precautions removing this drive as opposed to an earlier one without the reserve and associated oil line. appreciate info.

Nope,...

If you pull the Complete Drive, there's a check-valve at the Gimbel Housing....

If you pull Just the Lower Unit,... It'll continue to Leak out, til empty...
