If my boat has the exhaust through the hull do I still need to install the exhaust bellows? There are rubber caps on top of the exhaust pipes. I have seen a few posts that say yes and some that say no

With nothing but straight pipe thru hull, you don't need elbows. That being said you do need to seal up the Y-pipe ends so water doesn't come back into the boat. Either remove and cap off the Y-pipe or seal up the top ends.

Re: Alpha One Exhaust Bellows

There is a piece of rubber on the top of both Y pipes with a hose clamp around it. I was thinking they look kind of skimpy so I was thinking about getting some heavier rubber and putting at least 3 hose clamps on each side just to be safe. Thanks for the advice and as always it's appreciated very much.
