Was out the other day and lost FWD gear. Came back and pulled the drive off and the lock wired keeper on the back of the shift cable had worked it's way off due to a lousy/loose safety wire job. Put it back in just shy of the hole and then re-safety wired it. Put her back together and now she grinds hard going into both Fwd and Reverse. Is this something that can be fixed with a simple cable adjustment or worse?
