Alpha one gen 1

Will an Alpha one get 1 out drive from a 4.3 work as a replacement for a alpha one gen 1 with a 3.0?

The gear ratio will be higher than the 3.0.
You might be able to prop down a few sizes to make it work.
What size prop are you running now?

The ratio in this unit is 1.81:1, I'm running a 19x14.4 prop.

I'm guessing "this unit" means the 4.3?
The 3.0 is approx 1.98.
If you go down to a 17 it might work depending what your WOT rev's are now.
