Took off complete outdrive to change lower shift cable. Water in main bellow leading to the gimbal bearing.

Gimbal bearing has very slight resistance when spinning.

1-Do I have a bellows leak?

2- If so what bellows kit would you recommend me buy to replace?
3-Do I need any special tools? (Hinge pin? Gimbals removal and installation tools?)
4-I am assuming I need a bellow sealant. What do y'all recommend?

1 maybe if there is water entering the boat or a very high bilge level at some point to allow water into the bellow from the engine compartment
2 One for the GEN II , I use Sierra with good results
3 The hinge pin is correct but a 1/2 inch allen key may also work.If Red loctite was used, hi heat will be required. no need to re-loctite it
4 bellows adhesive, contact cement, 3M weatherstrip adhesive
