Alpha One Gen 2 seal question

I made a mistake and did not notice where the 3 1/2 inch x 3/8 inch x 1/8 inch (approx size) seal went when I removed the drive a few days ago. Do I install it on the upper drive where the gear end yoke is? Does it get glued on?

Thanks,

Paul

I would guess that you are referring to (a) the rubber gasket. Glue it into the bellhousing with some bellows adhesive (as shown), if it gets bumped or moved out of the way and cut when installing the drive and you don't notice. Consider the price of a gimbal bearing, ujoints, and possibly more as he outcome of that seal going bad.
