Alpha One Gen I Drive Removal?

I have never removed an outdrive. I would like to remove my drive for the winter. The housing needs some work and I want to paint it.
Is this a difficult task for 1 man? Do I need any special tools? A friend told me that re-installation is the hard part.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks Don.
I'll give it a try. Reinstallation is the part that looks confusing.

Reinstallation isn't difficult either. It is a little challenging for one person - especially if you've never done it before and you don't have a stand of some sort. But it can certainly be done, and is nothing to "be afraid of." Just read up on it and be familiar with the steps before actually man handling it back in place.

Thanks for all the help.
I should be able to get someone to give me a hand in the Spring to install.
