Alpha One "MR" water pump torque?

I have an Alpha One drive (MR) and am replacing the water pump. Anyone know the correct torque for the three nuts that fasten the upper housing to the base? It is the plastic housing and the manual says 90 lb. in. That seems a pretty high to me.

Mercruiser book says 90 inch pounds (7.5 foot pounds) for the nuts, 30-40 inch pounds (2.5-3.3 foot pounds) for the screw.

That's lb. "INCHES" which is only 7.5 foot lbs.
