Alpha one trim cyclinder E clip size?

Hey there,

Its a long weekend here in Canada and all the marine shops are closed. I took the boat out yesterday and noticed today that the end cap & E clip on the trim cyclinder is missing. Just the washer hanging loose which I am suprised it never fell off on the way home hitting highway speed. I was wondering if anyone knew the size? I was hoping to go to homedepot to get one if I could. Its the lower part of the power trim. The part # is 53 - 815949. Thanks guys!!

You might get a precise answer over in the MerCruiser area. However, those clips are pretty cheap, so why not measure as best you can and buy one of every size close to it? You may even be able to return the ones you don't use. Be prepared for the clip to rust pretty quickly, though. Not a big deal if you're going to buy the genuine article soon.
