My merc alpha 1 trim pump is dead, nothing happens, no clicks or noises. Fluid seems milky, I guess some water has gotten in.
1. Besides emptying reservoir, how do I get all the dirty fluid out?
2. Do I have to buy new trim motor, motor and pump, etc.(have gotten a few different opinions at my marina)
3. Genuine Merc or aftermarket, does $300- $400 price differrence matter or is that just Merc markup?
