Alpha1Gen2: i replaced the water pump and the drive gear bearings because of an upper leak. i caught the problem before there was internal damage and the oil looked pretty good. i flushed it, and replaced upper oil seals, did full bellows/bell housing job.
I put it on muffs and ran it and a small drizzle of water is coming out the upper cap rear orafice.
i don't remember that is normal. did i miss a seal in the upper when i joined them when i did the water pump job ? any idea which one ?
i pressure tested the gear oil space to 15lbs off the boat, and it was good. i even turned the gears and it kept pressure for 30min, not 1oz of pressure loss.
