I have a 06 opti 150 with a bad low pressure fuel pump. My question is i have seen other pumps that look identical with the same psi output for $120 for a carb model from 90's while actual replacement pump is $400 Has anyone tried this as alternate? Anyone found a good part site to order from? The only thing i can think y wouldnt work is voltage requirements.

Re: Alternate part question

Are you sure? The low pressure (primary) pump for your outboard is a 14360T75 diaphragm pump and sells for about $75 complete, or the rebuild kit for $25. The high pressure pump (located in the vapour seperator) is the pricey one ($375). High pressure pumps are not used on carbureted engines.
