so today i finally found the elusive VR for my Paris Rhone/Valeo alternator. it's an external unit with a brush assembly that attaches to the alternator. <br /><br />my concern is the wires on the brushes are opposite of the previous VR in direction and color! there is no way to fit it together accept one direction and the wires are 100% reversed. i contact the shop i bought the VR at and their mechanic says that it does not matter.<br /><br />i'm no electronics expert, but i'm still concerned about the wires being reversed and causing polarity issues with my charging system.<br /><br />any thoughts on this?<br /><br />thanks all.
