wondering if a boat engine from California (479ft.) to Saskatchewan is 1580 ft. above sea level would have diffuculty running in its new environment. Would the jet need to be upgraded??
We run lots of boats in Alberta, a good portion of the province is over 2100 ft, I've never seen rejetting done. Just a tweak on the idle mix. The engine do develop a little less power and need to be repropped to cope with the less dense air
thank you guys....just wish i could get responses like this on the merc. forum as this engine is a merc....are merc engines that good that they never break down?lol
