The specs for the tube is at the end of the post. My current swim platform uses ss tubing that are flat at the ends and screwed to the swim platform and transom. I'm in the process of making a new swim platform. the current support tubes are cracking where there flat. I have alot of alum tubing laying around. The current setup uses 3 support tubes. I have the room to use atleast 6 support tubes.
