I'm interested in finding out if my boat has any collector value. It is stamped #146 (of 202).It was in the MPLS Aquatennial Parade that summer of '54. The windshield is gone but steering mech is all ok, Transom needs some work, and has one small dent. It is VERY heavy for an aluminum boat (dual cockpits). Is it worth restoring? (How?) Selling as is? (how much is it worth?) or scraping for the price of aluminum?

That boat will always have collectors value. Selling it can always be done, but scraping for the price of aluminum would be a sin. I'd keep it for sure. You have to love boats to restore them with your time and money, but a special boat can do it like none other can. Questions answer themselves as time passes and you don't want to regret a decision later. Your boat is special and more than you now know. If you would run it, I'd bet you wouldn't think of parting with it. And about that boat being a chick magnet and parade worthy... I could go on.
