Re: Alumacraft FD Production years?
For the FD I think sometime in the mid 70's, hope someone has the year. Can't remember but somewhere I found 1954 as the start.
All these style of boats were replaced with the new wider models and compromises were made with advantages and disadvantages between the old narrow and new wide. I personally prefer the old narrow, round (soft) chine boats. Mainly for the smoother ride and better running performance.
