AlumaCraft Keel Breach

First time poster, folks. I'm seriously hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I have a 2001 AlumaCraft 176 Bass that has an approximately 24 inch crack in the keel from about mid-ships to forward. What options do I have for getting my baby fixed? I'm thinking the best route to go is to have a fabrication shop TIG weld the breach. The only problem is, there is foam above the crack.

Any advice?

Without pulling the floor and removing the foam to allow safe welding, the only safe method I can think of would be to fabricate an overlay piece, adhere it with a generous amount of 3M 5200 and let it cure fully before putting it in the water. Adding rivets may be possible. Pictures would help.
BTW welcome to the forum.

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,..... I think you're Right,....
I'd have 'em scab a patch over top of the weld too....
Tig doesn't produce as much heat as some welding, but the foam might have to be Moved...
Whoever you get to do it will determine that...

Thanks for the replies! Glad to be a part of this great forum.

I have a couple of very reputable guys in mind. My main concern was the foam, so I'll address this issue, myself. I'll post a pic later today to help you verify your forced assumptions. Thanks for letting me bounce my idea against the board.
