I have an Alumacraft Model F (19468 - whatever that means...) and I believe it's a 1960 model. Today my bow eye snapped off and I'd like to replace it with a 'correct' bow eye, if there is such a thing. The attached photo shows the broken item. Does anyone know who sells these?

Thanks!

Re: Alumacraft Model F bow eye

I have always assumed that the castings on the Alumacrafts from that era were factory made. I've never seen them on other boats.

I suppose if you were really motivated, you could have a copy cast for you at a local foundry.

Re: Alumacraft Model F bow eye

I am looking for a couple of the original AlumaCraft bow eye as well. Mine are all riveted in and in good shape...except for those boats where a chrome alternative was used. I know of a couple of good foundries to produce these if anyone had a spare donor for sale/loan? Perhaps the broken one referenced above could be repaired well enough so it could be used as a pattern? Just a thought....I'm willing to pay for the donor pattern and front the production costs.
