Did Alumacraft ever make a 14 foot Model F6 in 1963. It has no splash tray across the transom, but seems to have high sides, rather like an FD. Here is a picture of one supposedly.

I can't say I ever saw one but I've heard of a Model F6. If it is a Model F6, thank you for the info and showing it!

Re: Alumacraft Model F6 ?

They had an F-6 in '61 for sure--not sure about '60, but doubt it. Replacement of the classic 14 foot Model F. Then, in '63, they upgraded to an F-7. The R-6 (successor to the desireable 12' Model R) was around in '61 thru at least '63. If its a 14 footer, then its a '60/'61 thru '62-only boat. The beginning of the march to beamier and deeper boats. A keeper if its in good condition.

Re: Alumacraft Model F6 ?

I know this is an old thread....I'm new here. I was searching for info about my boat. I have an f-6. It was my grandpa's boat..I bought it back from a guy a few years ago. I didn't know it was that old. It's in good shape. I came across this thread because I was looking for a cover, but couldn't find any information on my model. Any possibility that its newer than the 60's?

edit...if anyone is still reading this thread, I will try to post some pics in the next day or so.
