aluminum boat with leaks help needed

hi there guys I need some advise on how to get my boat ready for gulvit ? what I need to know is how much I should buy for a 16 foot deep V and how clean dose the hull have to be and can I apply on both sides of the hull . I mean inside and out side the hull I will be doing it this weekend so all the info now would be great .

Hey gary, best way to clean, is pressure wash real well, give it a good scrub with soap, then rinse well. make sure to scrape off any loose sealer. Let dry completley. I did my 16' with 1 liter and had some left over, most only do the interior. If you have any loose rivets make sure you buck them tight before the gluvit.

thanks Glen I did just what U said last night brushed every inch with soap now I will let dry for a few days ,I kind of knew I had to buck the rivets some LOL .this is a real nice old boat so want to save her ..
