Aluminum Chris Craft?

Do my eyes deceive me? Looks like an aluminum boat to me.

I didn't believe it, either, so googled "aluminum chris craft". Appears that some of their large cruisers (Roamer series) were aluminum hulled, so it isn't outside the realm of possibility.

I haven't come across anything pertaining to smaller boats, tho...

The Craigslist posting has been deleted, so I can't see what model this was. That aside, Yes, Cris Craft built in Aluminum. Back as far as the late 60's & early 70's they had some aluminum models. I remember a sprtfishing series that was known for horrible corrosion issues. The Roamer series were in aluminum & also steel. (They also had a short lived gas turbine power option in some of their boats back in the early 70's).

I see it now, thank you. -- I agree, the seller may be confused, I don't think Chris Craft ever built anything like that.

The style of this boat leads me to believe it is from the late 50s.
