Aluminum Floor

Hi guys, I am installing a 3/16 aluminum diamond plate floor in my fishing boat. I was hoping somebody could help me and suggest a type of silicone etc to seal the joints so water can't get under the floor. Finding something that says will bond to aluminum and not just "metal" has been a chore. Thanks for any help.

Silicone will fail if used.
