Hey guys,

Hoping for someone with pics "mid Project"

I bought a 16.5 ft smoker craft Pro angler and he had already removed all of the plywood floor. There were a couple of strips of aluminum that went over the foam and under the plywood. BUT,,,,,Based on the number of rivet holes there were several missing and Im having trouble judging how many to put back in. Any one experienced this?

I have purchased enough replacement aluminum to put them every 14" but it apears that some of them didnt go all the way accross. Maybe for the under the floor stoorage? Any direction or ideas would be very helpful.

Yup, pics will always help us help you better.

Deck framing isn't that hard and the manufacturers usually skimp on it anyway in lieu of supporting the decking with the expanding foam.

Check the pics in this thread. I can't tell for sure, there's only one showing in the pic but from the looks of the foam, it Looks like maybe a total of 4.

Yeah this are the pics of my boat and my original inquiry. I have updated my plans. I fabricated (10) 2" wide by 3/16" thick aluminum stringers to go over my my foam and Vertical stringers. I rivet each one in four spots which really ties the boat together. Plus its a lot more material to screw the deck to. This way I can safely drop to 1/2" marine grade Plywood epoxied on both sides for the decking. Really want to cut as much weight as possible with out loosing strenth.

Soon as I am done with the Horizontal stringers I will up load a pic of my progress. Thanks for the Interest.

Also, What spray on Vinyl floors have people been using? Ive got a gun and compressor and little experience but I can just roll it on too. any suggestions or personal experience as always is very appreciated.
