Anytime you sell something in top condition ...it brings top money!

Congratulations!

As far as nasty...you could go to a monastery and find nasty people there too!
Over all...I thinks it's pretty nice here!

Good for you! That's a great price for that boat.

But as far as not hiding anything, isn't this the boat in this thread? How did you make the sole solid again, and did you show this to the buyer?

Caveat emptor, I guess. Rot, like its cousin rust, never sleeps.

I think the comment was made on the original thread, "A boat is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it" Looks like you found the right person for what you were asking.

Good for you on getting the price you wanted, but I'll bet the buyer did not ask here on iboats the worth of what he was buying. P.T. Barnum: "There's a sucker born every minute."

That reminds me of a story. A man joined a monestary whose inhabitants had taken a vow of silence. The only exception to the vow was the privilege of saying two words on the last day of the year. The man's first two words were "bad food". Year two passed and he grumbled "hard bed". Once year three had finally passed his two words were "I'm leaving", to which the abbott replied, "I'm not surprised. You've done nothing but comlain since you got here."
