Am I on fire? Do I jump?

Some years ago I was out on an inland bay near Atlantic City NJ. It was rough and I was bouncing around in my speedboat. All of a sudden smoke starts pouring (I mean really pouring) out of the gunnel behind the drivers armrest. Since I am sitting next to it and I know the fuel line and some electrical lines are back there. I immediately start wondering is it a fire? How do I put it out since I do not know where it is? I immediately slow to a stop and am thinking about jumping overboard. I start for the opposite side of the boat and start to yell at my passenger to jump for it, when I realize that there is no heat! I decide to risk approaching the smoke and feel for the heat.

As I get closer I realize that there really is no heat. I reach behind the armrest and pull out my freon boat horn, which has a hugh hole in the side and is spewing freon! Very "smoky" but much better than a fire!

Did the passenger jump? That would just make it that much more funnier.
