Hey, A couple of weeks ago I posted in another section, my question about whether it was weird to keep my runabout but buy a bigger boat for hanging out on, you know overnighting, and occasional longer trips. (Am I weird?) Wellll...... Ran into my hubby's friend from long ago---lost touch---at a local marina and she showed us her 33 ft 1993 Carver Mariner. GREAT boat. Now I'm in love with those. We'll keep our runabout and save up for a good condition used one ---in a couple of years when we get tired of the runabout, we'll move up to something like that, the Aft cabins are nice, too. Anybody have experience with or knowledge of Carvers?

Haha. I neglected to mention, it would be a SMALLER boat, not necessarily a Carver, either. But the 36-38 ft ones would be fine for our purposes. LOL. I resent the word SPONSOR. LOL.

no its not wierd my buddy has his runabout for watersports and his offshore racing boat for well tearing up the river he uses both on a constant basis its not uncommon for people to own two or more boats

yes...............still:laugh:

A typo, I meant to type 26-28 ft. But we are prob selling the Stingray next spring to get something different---still a runabout, 19-20. nothing fancy, and not new. In fact, prob old. :) And drydocking it. Hubby's sick of trailering already.
