I was looking in my Optimax manual today to aid a poster with a problem. The manual covers the 115, 130, and 150 HP OM. I don't have one. I was buying a manual for my engine and accidentally bought the OM manual...later found the right one and bought it.

The OM engine is a 2500 CC V6.......2500 CC V6 putting out 115 HP. That's twice what my 2002 4 cylinder 115 has for cubes. Hole shot must be mind boggling. I can't believe it....but it's printed in the Service Manual. Maybe it was the predecessor to the Command Thrust engines that seem to be popular in 115 HP. Just an idle comment.

The 3 cyl was the low seller? Know why? Cubes maybe?
The 3 cylinder was 1/2 of the 3.0 6 cylinder so it was a 1.5 litre. But it sat in the V6 chassis plenty of those out there. They were good sellers I owned one It was a nice motor. One huge advantage it had was because it sat in the v6 chassis everything was under the hood no external oil tanks.
