Just out of curiosity, why do want to use Amsoil? Mercury, Johnson, Evinrude, etc. oil is about $ 16.50 per gallon. Isn't that expensive enough? Last time I checked, Amsoil was like $6 - $8 per guart.
I have run Amsoil (Two tanks) through my motor and didn't notice any difference at all. What I did do was use Amsoil in the lower unit. There I noticed a 200rpm gain.<br /><br />Just my .02<br /><br />Craig
